Overview

Mandela County, Wisconsin is invaded by shape-shifting, nearly immortal creatures called Alternates, led by a false depiction of the Archangel Gabriel with their aim is to wipe out the human race by psychologically torturing them to the point of suicide. A group of high school graduates struggle to maintain their reality after an ex-classmate's disappearance sparks a chain of unexpected and unsettling events.
